Yes, I am talking about Quikys own Phyrefile. Why use it, you say? Because it is on the same server as the forum, images are readily available to use, and to view. In fact, if you use the "go advanced" feature when submitting a post, Phyrefile is integrated into the forum. ![]() An example: I waited a good four minutes to view one image from Imageshack, and this is my connection speed: ![]() I actually gave up waiting and just moved on to view other images. And, IIRC, uploading sites like Imageshack have real hard-on for this forum, and have blocked images in the past.

| Squirrel Mincer | I tried Phyrefile, but to start with it wouldn't accept my e-mail address to register (used a different one now), it doesn't allow me to preview the picture and I can't see all my images. I use Imageshack because of the toolbar, which makes uploading images very easy. I admit that uploads fail regularly and the images are slow to load, but Phyrefile isn't a good enough alternative for me. And I hate the adverts. Cashduck lol |

| How come Phyrefile doesn't show any of my uploaded images? I created an account, I log in, but there's nothing to be seen or done. | |

Rep Power: 14 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I have a problem with Phyrefile I paste the direct link to the image between two IMG tags but the image wont show. I guess I'll go back to imageshack. |

Car: 2001 Impreza RS Rep Power: 10 ![]() ![]() ![]() | ^ That is a problem with the direct link... a little kookie I always take the BB code with a hyperlink, copy and past it and just remove the hyperlink. I like phyrefile, it's pretty easy to upload pics on the fly without having to use a 3rd site. A few more features would be nice, though (Like being able to access all the pics you've uploaded to your profile ) |

| Is there a way to make Phyrefile resize images? A lot of times I use Imageshack because I don't feel like opening up Gimp to resize a picture just to upload it once.

There's a thumbnail feature, but no it currently won't resize the full version.

I then have to stop the upload, delete the file, then click the home tab and then my image is available. WTF!?!

Car: Jap crap Rep Power: 20 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I don't want to sound rude or ungrateful, but i find phyrefile a bit hard to use and buggy. I know i shouldn't criticise a free hosting service but the interface gives me some problems. Having said that i have still been using it anyway due to the convenience of having it integrated with the forum.

| Also, is it possible for the automatic BB Code generator to not reverse the order of images uploaded? For example, I upload 01.jpg through 09.jpg, the code generated for me to copy and paste is reversed, from 09.jpg to 01.jpg. Kinda sucks when I'm trying to post multiple images in a specific order. | |
