Here's a pic of 2 of my Volvos.. I wasn't really going for the perfect shot, just wanted to see how it turned out.. And as there are cars in the pic, it gave me a good reason to bump this thread because I want to see more HDR car images images/smilies/smile.gif

Another one then, it actually turned out quite nice I think, except for the halo in the right bottom.

snq, lovely pics!
Alok, nice!

Which cam would you guys recommend that allows me to try some HDR? I've read the tutorials a while ago and it's being difficult to find some cam that has the 'raw' function... guess I'm not looking the right models then...

You don't need RAW to shoot HDR, a tripod works much better.

Yep, although RAW is easier, it really can't compare with the tonal range that you'd be able to get using multiple exposures.

These look great! If it's possible, I'd also like to see some of the originals, to see where the major differences are images/smilies/smile.gif

I'm not quite sure I understand HDR images yet...

Some of these pics look photoshopped and some look like normal pictures...

It depends on how you do it. Personally, I prefer the images that utilize the full dynamic range of multiple exposures, but don't seem 'overly processed'. It's all a matter of opinion though.

Can someone post a link to an idiots guide on how to take the photos with a Digital Rebel XTi (17-40 f4 L USM). I cant seem to get a single RAW file to work, even with a -4,0,+4 range it won't work. I really want to use one for the undergrad show! BTW, i did look at all the posted walk throughs previously posted.

HDR is a bitch to get right. I still had to adjust a bit with photoshop to get rid of those nasty halos. taken at the Toronto Auto Show.
