Rep Power: 0  |  Champ Car 2007 - Portland I know this is a bit late as this race happened about 2 weeks ago, But I haven't posted here in a while so I thought I should go ahead. Since I haven't been here in a while I thought I would introduce myself again for any new folks here. I am 17 and Portland International Raceway is about 10 mins away from me. The racetrack is sort of my "second home" as I go there just about every weekend. At the moment, I am just shooting for fun with no media access for the big races. Anyway, It rained all day on Saturday for the 2nd practice/qual sessions. on the Friday, it was dry, but I didn't go because I was in school. Also , no one could improve their qual times in the wet so there was no change there. It was dry for the race on sunday, with just a bit of light raindrops on some parts of the track. This was also the first race for the new standing start. And the race was green the whole way, a first in a long time at portland.
