This is great stuff Ice - these things combine the 'sidewaysness' of car action shots with the human touch of Motor Bikes - very photogenic. You have captured the excitement of the event especially well in a few of those shots.

Like Ian said...great stuff. Looks like the poor guy in picture DSC_1935 popped a bead on the rear tire.

Nah, he misjudged a landing and landed hard on that wheel instead of all 4. No pitstops though, so he had to finish the race like that. It's only 20 minutes (twice with 1 hour break in between), but it's still a very formidable endurance challenge. The drivers were sweating rivers afterwards.

Awesome photos Ice! I really love the first one you posted in Lens Flair - there's some great work there! Looked like a good day out too!
One thing I would say though; on a couple of the photos where they've jumped, it's difficult to get a sense of scale as you can't see the ground. It's always good to keep some of the ground & shadow in shot so that it's easier to see how far they've jumped - plus it helps add to the sense of speed...
Also, the black and white shot close to the bottom, it's a bit hard to distinguish quad bike from car. Admittedly, the way they've parked makes it difficult to avoid this, but a slightly different shooting angle could've made quite a difference...

However, really good overall in my opinion!

Edit: Took quite a few photos on the day, eh? images/smilies/wink.gif

Yup, two too many cars, but I love 'em:
1991 Peugeot 309 - owned it for four years, currently the only runner and the daily driver... but great fun to drive! French though, so gotta treat her rough to keep her happy.
1989 Toyota MR2 Mk1 - owned it for two years. Love it loads. Currently undergoing a suspension upgrade...
1987 Toyota MR2 Mk1 SC - A project car that had Headgasket issues when I bought it. I've never driven it... yet...
