lol... this isn't "deal" of the day. It's always around $630USD from beachcamera or bugdig(these two are the same company). In fact, I bought mine for approx 640 and have had it for a good two months now.
jayjaya, get one, it is awesome. People on the street treats you with respect! I was walking around tower of london doing th etourist thing w/ my tripod... then i had few ppl come up to me asking me to take pics of them cause they figure "i knew my stuff." Of course I took some awesome shots hehe.

I really want one, but if I buy it, my parents would kill me, and I would have no money for gas.
I am putting some money in a side account though and saving up, I have about $200 right now, but it doesn't grow fast. I'll get the camera eventually. |

Personally I'm really glad I opted for a second hand 10d. While the technology is older, I like the response from the bigger sensor. Moreover, I've got relatively small hands, and the rebel xt still just feels like a toy in my hands, with its plastic body and fiddly menus. Give me a heavy steel framed camera with chunky controls that I can operate without looking at any day. |

I thought the 10D was 1.6x crop too? How much bigger is the sensor?
