Default DV-camera lense help needed!

Last year I bought a Panasonic NV-GS320 camera. It's great otherwise but the area the lense is able to capture is just pathetic. I was wondering if it's possible to get somekind of a wide-angle lense for it for a bigger picture. Cause I don't know anything about lenses so I don't even know what model to start looking for. Here are two pictures I took of the camera and I'm hoping that someone can tell me what kind of a lense to buy (if it's even possible).

i have wide conversion lenses on all of my sony minidv's, and im positive that your lens barrel has grooves for accesories. just take a peak at the white writing on the barrel and see what size you need. if you really want to go cheap, theres little plastic lenses allover best buy.

as for the sony's, ive always bought the vcl series wide conversion lenses. the carl zeiss lenses magnify so much, a wide angle lens is almost compulsary pmsl you may be able to grab up one of these if any of the sony's will fit, but the vcl's are around $120 each.

Thanks a lot. I found a lense for about 150 euros, gonna have to think if it's worth it. Also I managed to find out something incredibly simple and I'm pretty f*cking pissed for not noticing it earlier. All this time, the camera has been in 16:9 mode. When I put it to 4:3, there image is much bigger images/smilies/tongue.gif.

Okay so I found all these cheapo lenses on eBay and whatnot but did a search on a local computer store before bidding on anything. They had this for 28 euros. It's a few euros more expensive than anything on eBay but whatever, not worth the hustle.

I'm pretty happy with the results. The snap on locking mechanism is kinda shitty, but otherwise it works okay.

Now you can film porn!

EDIT: That's not very nice.

for me, the wide angle lenses are great for the minidv's from sony. but yes your camera is probably native 4:3 and like the majority of consumer cameras it sort of takes and gives with the resolution images/smilies/smile.gif

glad you got a good lens!!
