^ Yup. Late noon or early morning, when the sun is out. Though, overcast and cloudy whether can work well with the right white balance (see my maple leaf picture earlier, which was taken in total overcast).

It actually was fairly late afternoon, around 4-5. The light got a little warmer as the day went on, but it was still grey, grey, grey.
