First Cover!

Hey,

Just got my first cover shot in a magazine. Very excited! While the publication, Ski Racing, is small by normal standards, it's the leading publication for ski racing in the US so I'm pretty stoked!

That's a great pic in one of my fave magazines. Congrats.
BTW, I have the same speedsuit as that except the green on mine is silver.

so are you compensated for that picture and the ones in the mag? and is it worth it?

Yes, I'm paid, but financially it isn't worth it- compared to the amount you have to spend on equipment to be able to get a shot like that to the amount paid it doesn't make sense. You can actually make a lot more money shooting little kids (J5's or 6's) at races and selling photos to parents.

But ego wise, it's totally worth it images/smilies/biggrin.gif
