Unfortunately for those looking for an off-the shelf product of sorts, i'm sorry i can't cater. I got the lens from a local dude from a different forum with no box, no paperwork or any kind of other attached goods except a soft Nikon lens bag (the 18-70mm kit bag) which will hold the 28-300mm very well.
I'm selling this lens because it just sits in my bag doing nothing. I'm really not big on long tele shots, and the only reason I bought it back then was because I figured the extra 100mm (i previously had a 55-200mm) would be cool. The lens is built well, hasn't really failed me at all, and the images are contrasty and plenty sharp enough for such a huge zoom range to boot (you can be the judge of that with the samples I guess). It has really served me well, but for my progressing photography I've come to use it less and less, almost to the point where I don't really use it at all. The zoom action is easy and smooth, not stiff and ratchety. Since it doesn't have an internal focus motor the focus is pretty loud and if it's dark it'll hunt a bit--but I can't see why you'll be using this lens in the dark anyways so it shouldn't really matter. The macro focus ability with the lens is quite surprisingly good!! It'll focus @ about 10" away even when zoomed to 300mm. I had great fun taking pictures at a local botanical garden. Asking Price:: $170 shipped to your location. Vitals: Focal Length: 28-300mm Aperture: variable 3.5-6.3 (@28mm and @300mm) Size: about a quarter inch longer than the 18-70mm but not as fat. I'd consider it, if it were a Canon mount. Some of those photos are pretty cool too, good luck with the sale.

Bump, maybe we should have a whole section for buying and selling things like a 'Market Place' section or something. I'm not sure if the demand would be high but just a suggestion.

This is tempting. What kind of post processing has been done to the sample images?
