Is it just me or do those wheels seem a bit big?

And while we're on the subject of SAE, Oregon State (where I went to school) took first and third? in Baja. images/smilies/happy.gif

... I ask Herb Helbig, vehicle synthesis manager for SRT and a member of the original Team Viper development group since day one, if they'd ever thought of adding traction control. "It comes with two," he says, pointing at my feet. "Learn to use them." Got it.

Depends really. Some teams go for smaller wheels, others choose bigger ones. They're only 13 in though images/smilies/wink.gif

Usually a Kawasaki or Yamaha motorcycle engine with a limited air intake I believe.

Is there a transmission there..? if so, how does it work? cuz it looks too cramped for a gear lever.

599cc Yamaha R6 engine with a 20mm restrictor limiting power to approx 80bhp. Gears are standard R6 box with six speeds and no reverse. The gear lever is on the left just next to the steering wheel. You can see the guys hand on it in the first picture images/smilies/wink.gif
