I just want to know what you guys think of these. I have the RAW files still, so things can be adjusted a LOT from what they are. I tend to make darker pictures (a result of having a very bright monitor). I tried to keep the sky properly exposed.

I forgot to set the aperture, so the pictures have much larger DoF than I would have liked.

Oh, and my site is terrible when it comes to database calls like that, so I apologize ( and thank you greatly) if you take the time to view them!

Cool photos, some sort of Digital Rebel?

A couple of comments:

-Good job on keeping the sky properly exposed, for the most part. Something that's pretty difficult to do in those conditions.
-In a few of the photos, you have the horizon right in the middle of the photo. This is a big no-no, and makes the photos look pretty unappealing. Look up the rule of thirds.
-Some of the photos seem a bit flat... RAW files usually have pretty low contrast, you might want to try fiddling around with that a bit more.
-Also, in image IMG_3784, it's obvious that you've reversed into position, and parked the car especially for the photo. I tend to like photos where that's not so apparent, but that's just a personal opinion. Driving forwards into position would have helped there.

Anyway, just a few pointers. Keep at it though.

I was trying far to hard to keep the sky exposed properly, and I have not worked enough with raw files to get both the sky and the car in proper exposure without lowering the contrast.

Reversing into position was the only possible way for that shot. It is actually sitting at a very steep incline and on a very narrow lot with houses on either side images/smilies/wink.gif.

I know about the rule of thirds... I just was having a hard time getting the horizon out of the middle, just have to take more shots (I was in shorts images/smilies/wink.gif)

The Caterpillar pictures are far to busy (thanks to the damn mud) and I forgot to use Av, so they came out less appealing than I had hoped.

I love RAW!
