Default My backyard today. *NO 56k!!!!!!*

It was a miserable old day, I was planning on going to the park and taking pictures in the nice sunny weather. Alas, it was raining all day till about 2pm, so I went out in my back yard and took some pics.

I'm totally loving the 350D, it's such a nice camera to hold and so easy to use! Any tips will be most appreciated images/smilies/smile.gif

I like the last shot. The perspective makes the shoe look huge and the DOF works well to bring out the emblem. Good job!
The rest didn't do much for me, the overcast kills your sky and who hasn't seen flower macros before? The flower shots are technically ok and I guess that's what matters now when youre still learning to use your new camera images/smilies/wink.gif

haha, first thing I noticed images/smilies/lol.gif

Photos are good though, dude. Must be nice having a sweet camera like that.

DCs rule, BTW. Leave it up to skaters to make the best shoes.

Hey watto, are you happy with the camera? I almost purchased a EOS 400D today with the kit lens and a 50mm f1.8. I'm interested in getting a decent SLR, and I currently have an Olympus SP-310 compact.

It is a fair amount of money to throw at something like that, so I was wondering if it all was running smoothly.

Yeah, couldn't be happier mate. It's a great camera to use, the functions are so damn easy, it's also alot lighter than I had imagined which is a bonus.

It is alot of money but I figure it's a long term investment, I can't see myself getting tired of it and then getting rid of it any time soon.

At the moment I'm thinking of ebaying the 90-300mm and buying a 70-210mm...
