Been hanging around these forums for a while, and thought I'd share some of my photography work with you all.

A month ago I upgraded from a canon powershot s3 camera, to a canon eos 350D. Bought the "canon 17-55mm f2.8 is usm" lens for the camera, and started shooting. Some examples of my work so far...

Toyota celica GT-4:

An old chevy:

Flat black mr2 mk3:

Lamborghini diablo SE30 jota (one of 11 or 12 ever made):

As soon as I've sold my car, I'm upgrading to either the canon 5D or mark III camera. My car:

Thank you. The latest picture of the lambo. Got a little lazy editing it, so have to re-do it later on images/smilies/wallbash.gif

Those shots of the Chevy, it's a 1955 BTW, 210 or Bel-air (only differences are the trim) is damn awesome.

I've got me a new background images/smilies/thumbsup.gif

As for the rest of you, thanks for the kind words. The car is now sold, so I can finally upgrade my equipment. My ca. 6 year old pc is now beeing replaced by a 3ghz amd pc with 4gig ram, and I'm looking hard and deep at the canon 5D with a canon 24-105 f4 is usm lens. They're not exaclty giving those bad boys awayimages/smilies/blink.gif

Not that anyone really cares, but: I came to my senses and settled with upgrading to a 400D camera.

And another lambo shot from the photoshoot we had...

Had a photoshoot with a nissan skyline r32 today. First picture done:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v398/markryder/fotowork/skyline01.jpg

As far as the EOS 400D camera goes, what sucked images/smilies/censored.gif on the 350D still sucks images/smilies/censored.gif on the 400D: autofocus images/smilies/mad.gif The 350 couldn't focus on the paint of the diablo, and the 400 had big problems focusing on the paint on the skyline images/smilies/wallbash.gif Even the autofocus on my old canon powershot s3 camera was better images/smilies/blink.gif

markryder, what camera did you use for the first batch of photos? Are the later photos shot with the 400D?

also, how much post-processing do you do?

And, of course, my compliments to some excellent photography. I just finished an intro course in photography and, sadly, have no funds to upgrade to a DSLR.

The pictures of the diablo and celica st205 gt4 are taken with the eos 350d camera. The only pictures that have been shot with the eos 400d are the latest ones of the white skyline and red toyota mr2 mk2.

On average I spent about 2-3 hours working on one photo.

Thanks!
