Default .NEF file format

I just went out to my 3rd HCM show, and I decided to shoot RAW, but the files came out as NEF files, and photoshop can't read them. How do I open these to edit them?

You probably need the new ACR for your photoshop.

CS3's is 4.4.1

From what I can tell CS2 only goes up to 3.7

Here is the Nikon NEF codec. If neither of those work this should at least let you view them.

^ CS2 reads .NEF files I take. But maybe thats because I have a slightly older camera (D50).

Yeah, not all NEF's are the same. Adobe adds support for newer cameras in Camera Raw all the time, so latest version is recommended.
