Oulton Park - 29/3/08 photo's

A few shots of my trip to Oulton park on saturyday, horrendous weather and a lack of any waterproof protection for camera and lens meant that the pics were taken from inside my car. That meant I was a fair old distance from the track so its at the full extent of the zoom on the 70-300mm lens for this. My first time using said lens so very much still getting used to it. Took a while to try and get a decent shutter speed that allowed for a static car but at least some form of wheel blur to give a sense of motion. Still a fair bit of room for improvement for me I reckon images/smilies/smile.gif

Looks like a mish-mash of some various racing classes, local type stuff?
I want to get a cart.

buy a big golf umbrella and attach it to something like a fence post or something so then you can get closer and stay dry
