wrong section? This is the photography sub-forum...where pretty much everyone uses photoshop.

if it's not allowed that's understandable, but this is hardly the wrong section to ask for a photo program..

I would say more photographers use PS than straight-out choppers.

don't see a reason to upgrade to cs3, but if you're looking for cs2, you're asking in the wrong section.

besides, by percent, 100% of "choppers" as you say, use photoshop, but a smaller percentage of photographers use photoshop. :p

I agree, would make more sense in the PS forum. My PS was never able to connect to the internet to activate, so in a few more days I might be shit out of luck. images/smilies/sad.gif

Firstly, upgrade to cs3 is very much worth it imho. It's improved in every aspect. It's faster for me, more logical interface, and many new awesome tools that I can't live without now images/smilies/smile.gif

Also, you could get a trial from adobe.com if you want, and then use any torrent resource to... *ahem*... fix it. Key is enough, no cracks needed.

It's much better than CS2. CS2 was painfully slow and buggy, at least from my experience. That's why I was, and actually still am using CS1. But indeed, like MXM said there are quite a few improvements in CS3, definitely worth the upgrade, mainly small things that were unhandy and stupid in CS1.

That being said I still use CS1, and turn on CS3 only in the rare occasion that I need those 1-2 extra new functions/filters CS3 has.

Just search for Photoshop CS3 on Mninova, there are a lot of torrents for it.

i've had issues with every CS3 torrent that I've downloaded (i've downloaded 4)

I even had problems getting the demo from Adobe working (strangely enough)

but I do have a friend who had the Adobe Design Suite CS3...

and now i've got Photoshop CS3 on mine. thread can be closed/locked!
