Scott Speed

Heres some shots from Scott Speed's press day at Infineon Raceway last week. It was pretty cool to actually see an F1 driver in person without thousands of people crowding around like I see in f1 on TV. He was prettycool and really funny and it was cool hearing him talking about driving in F1. He and his brother went karting and then did some laps in the Russell Racing School formula mazda cars becasue he is a graduate of the school. he kept talking about how cool the russell school cars were compared to F1 and he said they are more fun than the F1 cars.

Ah-ha.... I hate Scott Speed. Freaking curses out the FIA during the hearing and gets a $5000 fine cause he can't admit he made a mistake and passed Coulthard during a yellow flag. I seriously doubt he has any real fans besides his mom. images/smilies/tongue.gif

Besides, he's just a first year F1 rookie.

With that out of the way... some pretty decent pics. #4 is pretty dark, though. Maybe bump up the contrast a bit?

Well I wasn't implying that I was a a big fan of him (although I don't seeem to dislike him as much as you do). I was mainly meaning that it was cool just to see a "actual" driver in person.

Yes I know he is only a rookie and i think he is aware that he is not really expected to do very well. he has a lot to learn just like everybody else in their rookie seasons

But then again I can understand that if he drove well enough to earn you first championship point and then was suddenly denied, he would probably be quite mad and express his anger.

anyway, yeah the pics came out a little weird. It was really bright out and he was in a dark garage so it was hard to really get the right exposure between the bright windows and his face. I am still figuring out my new flash and so I didn't quite get it to work how I wanted.

LOL!! I dont follow F1, except the big names.

Anyways, i love these shots. Very high detail, very good lighting. Excellent work.
