Default Sticky Pod Tests on my 540i

Was bored tonight, found a parking garage, realized I had my camera equipment and a semi-clean car. Took a few pictures. I didn't have much time at all. I just grabbed my 20D and kit lens, stuck it on, and went. Didn't turn out too bad. Then the security guard comes (this was at a mall) and tells me I have to leave the mall is closed he will call the cops, bla bla bla. He says if he comes back and I am still here, hes calling the police. My friend who was with me started to make fun of him, lol. At that point we proceed to fill the parking garage with a lot of loud noises, black lines, and some white clouds on every floor of the garage. images/smilies/lol.gif

Nice pics!

Any shots of the rig? I thought the sticky pod was for DV cameras. Did you do anythng to prep the surface for the suction cups?

I messed up the story with the security guard a lot...

He originally told us to get lost or he was calling the cops, so we were like OK we will leave. He told us that if we were there when he got back we were screwed. So we immediately started to load the gear up, as soon as we get it packed up, and we were getting in the car he returns. Keep in mind this is like a whole minute later. Like we could have left any faster. At this point hes like "I'm not fucking stupid" I will call the police bla bla bla. Frank starts to argue and make fun of the guy at this point. I wish I remember what he was saying, it was pretty funny. At this point the race down three levels to the exit was on. So DSC goes off and every level we were just tearing ass though with the tires smoking. Down all of the ramps and around all of the corners. Was pretty funny.

Good times.

Nice photos of an absolutely beautiful car! I have a soft spot for the e39. Hate to bug you more- but was it a suction mount? I used one a while ago and got photos similar to yours (a.k.a. very close to the car).

I am wondering this as well. I have a 20D and a wired remote release. Were you using a timed release or the wireless one thats expensive.
