Are most people on flickr joining just for the reason of adding "friends", sharing how they feel today and produce tons of horrible useless content? I don't think so...

Not all social networking is bad, if it has a general idea, like flickr or deviantart, it's great. When it exists just for the sake of existing and creating fake friendships, like myspace or facebook, then it gets all wrong.
