Want to upgrade me 350D to D80 or 450D

I have been using a 350D for a few years and it's time to upgrade. Should I get the Nikon D80 or the Cannon 450D?

I don't know anything about photography but i could imagine that you need to write just a bit more information..

As a Nikon user I dont really pay much interest in Canons. I do know that the D80 is a cracking bit of kit, and it will feel sooo much better then your 350D.
Again, it boils down to Nikon or Canon.
One reason I can think of staying with Canon is if your two lenses for Canon. Obviously they wont work with a Nikon so you would have to buy the equivalent lenses again.

I only had 3 lenses and I sold 2 of them. I only have the 18-55 kit lens left with the 350D body. I will be buying new lenses regardless of the company.

I wouldn't bother upgrading a 350D to a 450D, I don't think it's worth it. I'd rather step up the series and go to a 40D. Extra pixels, screen size and anti dust aren't really worth a great deal.

I have 350D too and I've been looking into the 40D kit. it's $1150 at amazon right now and I feel like that's a mighty good price.

The problem is, I don't shoot as often as I used to.... no time... so getting it would be like buying a new toy but without really properly using it afterwards.
