Car: VQ30 Rep Power: 18    |  What is wrong with my camera? A few months ago my camera started acting up. The view on the LCD would sometimes be distorted. Sometimes the picture itself would come out fine, sometimes not. Now its messed up about 60% of the time. Any idea whats wrong? Here's the "distortion" I'm talking about:

Car: Carrera Subway... its a bicycle Rep Power: 23  | that looks worse than mine lol! you can tell your camera uses a CCD chip coz of how the streaks/smears go down the picture in columns....thats how they read the voltages off, by making the charges all shuffle along to the bottom one by one to be read off. something in that process is obviously fucked i would of sent this to get repaired the moment i seen it instead of waiting a few months. u still in warranty? |

Car: VQ30 Rep Power: 18 | Thanks for the replies. The warranty expired a long time ago - I've had this camera since 02 or so  Luckily I am about to get a new one anyways... DSLR here I come
