Default What's wrong with my camera?

I have a Nikon D70s and for some reason, the metering (or something) is all messed up. My pictures are always dark. When on automatic settings where 1/8th at F4.0 is necessary itll guess 1/30th at F5.6. Wtf? even where light is sufficient its always wrong.

Is your metering set to Matrix, Centerweighted, or Spot? Do you have any exposure compensation dialed in?

My metering sucks on my D80. But if you have your EV at -4 that will be really dark, lol.

I hate the metering on my D80, though.

Usually it's the photographer who is to blame, not the camera / metering mode... images/smilies/tongue.gif
