Z06 + custom Civic photo-shoot.

Had a free afternoon, a couple of buddies of mind got together and took some shoots and shot he breeze. Let me know what you think. First time "semi serious" shots.

Most of them look like they are HDR or have some heavy filters, that right? If it really is your first serious attempt at photography you have some skills. What lense are you using? The DOF is very strange..?

The DOF is faked and badly at that. And that looks like either a graduated natural density filter or just photoshopped. The only pic i like is the 5th, since it has none of that.

Way overshopped, and the blur looks really fake. #5 is nice, would have been better if you could bring out the projected light patterns a bit more, but I like the composition.

yeah, no hundred dollar lens or exotic filters just a bootleg copy of photoshop. images/smilies/tongue.gif

Tried HDR for a couple of shots but need more practice. What's DOP?

DOF is Depth Of Field. It's how blurry out of focus objects are.

Now, what makes you say that? I'm not a huge Corvette guy, but that looks like a C5 Z06 to me.

I like the composition of the shots, just the fake DOF and the pictures being too dark are a real turn off, I suppose.

Do you have any un-edited versions? I am kind of intrigued at what your original shots looked like.

EDIT: that is most definitely a Z06.

I was being sarcastic, referring to my dislike of that model over to current Z06. It sounded right in my head! images/smilies/lol.gif

I know they might be a really dark, but that's how my buddy wanted them to turn out. He'll (Civic) will be in a custom car show later this month and wanted some pics to turn into a poster of somekind. yeah I'm starting to see how the DOF can be a turn off.
