It's not really photoshopping (except for the textures) but is anyone else doing similar stuff?
Just a few examples, working with 3dsmax. Renderings aren't great, I couldn't yet be bothered to make fancier ones. Fiat X1/9 for game use (GTLegends, rfactor, Racer etc.) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Supercarry (actually started before TopGear's challenge), also for game use ![]() ![]() ![]() Bugatti Type 50 ![]() And a DTM Fiesta ![]() ![]() ![]() And many other more or less finished models lurking on my hd. |

I REALLY wished I could do things like that! But I lack the skill and/or the patience to do them...

Thank you. Yes, patience is a big part of it, it won't work without!

Soon automotive photography will be a thing of the past.
Great work, love the paintwork on the super carry extra. |

![]() That's amazing! My stuff in 3DS Max isn't quite that good (but then for my uses I've never needed it to be). I've just started using Rhino for a part of my work and am very impressed with it so far... Though again, I'm not sure I'll ever go to that level of detail... Though it'd be nice to do so when (if) I get around to modelling my MR2!!!

Yup, two too many cars, but I love 'em: 1991 Peugeot 309 - owned it for four years, currently the only runner and the daily driver... but great fun to drive! French though, so gotta treat her rough to keep her happy. 1989 Toyota MR2 Mk1 - owned it for two years. Love it loads. Currently undergoing a suspension upgrade... 1987 Toyota MR2 Mk1 SC - A project car that had Headgasket issues when I bought it. I've never driven it... yet... |

A whole lot of stuff these days is 3D generated in manufacturer advertisements. Some shamefully obvious, some harder to see than others.
OT, I the Supercarry! Nice work, love your texturing style. Wireframes?

I didn't do anything as complex modelling wise, but i did try to perfect my rendering:
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() And a little something i was toying with, but never saw through. :/ ![]() ![]() They were supposed to be these gyrostabilised monowheel racers, apparently jet powered, hehe. No idea where i was going with that... |

![]() ![]() ![]() No Ice. This is for 3D modeling stuff, not photographs! Truly amazing. Also, that Merc SL is unbelievable. If only they could get them that good in games. |

You have it backwards. PCs can pull off a LOT better graphics, but the problem is that when you code for a console, you are only dealing with one hardware set meaning you can hugely optimize it. With PCs, you gotta code for everything, even low end.
