Anyone else notice that the winners are usually the ones that are displayed first? 8)

my 1st chop and 4th place, quite ok images/smilies/smile.gif

i got a question, or more like a general wondering. TrueslideXL! 's chop (3rd place) is definitely an awsome job. but it looks to me as if a vw phaeton was taken, and the infiniti front (bonnet+lights) has been put onto that phaeton. because everything behind the A pillar "line" of the car, the doors, sidewindows, C pillar etc, look just original. so it looks as the chop is based on a vw phaeton rather then the infiniti images/smilies/unsure.gif

it looks to me as a phaeton, with a Fabulous bodykit, and an infiniti bonnet and lights, which is well, dunno, "weird" or strange. of course i might be wrong, but i dont really see the original lines of the infiniti, which imo have to be more or less recognizable.

what do u guys think about this?

I think pdanev is right about this, this car is more based on a phaeton rather than an infiniti, the only thing left original about the car is the front... but is there a rule against this?...

btw, what I wanted to do with his is put the entire skyline R34 front bumper, lights, the wing and sideskirts so it'll look as good as the previous gen skyline, however after the rims, I realized doing the front bumper was almost impossible, so I ditch the plan images/smilies/lol.gif

Congrats, a very nice show to be honest.

As for my chop, i got a audi vibe from the rear, so why not make the rest audi images/smilies/smile.gif

Well I got no points (to be expected... I'm a lazy ass and changed bugger all) but atleast I didn't score one of these "on the spot" awards.

just looked at my picture. I actually did make it a proper two door, but apparently, tired as I was when submitting it, I took the wrong version images/smilies/oops.gif

Oh well, still managed a shared 10th place with my first car chop. I hope the next challenge will be a bit more motivating.
