I thought I'd try my hand at a couple of vectors (doing one here at work and one at home).
Here's my Koenigsegg WIP. I must say this is VERY time consuming! ![]() I think I'm going to pass on trying to give it the look of carbon fiber. I'll keep updating as I go along.

O.o the detail is amazing, keep it up.
I know you said you didnt want to do CF, but i had an idea: Make it carbon fiber, but soft of "zoomed in", so the grain looks much bigger on the car than it actually is, it would look great artistically

Hot piss that does look good. Love the detail and the 'lighting' is spot on.

Revised! Slowly but surely it's coming along.
A few body lines and that headlight assembly took forever! Gah! ![]() Thanks for the praise! I'm emailing this home so I can work on it after the kids get to bed. I don't think my boss would approve of the time I've spent on this on the clock! LOL

Here's a break-down of the headlight assembly.
![]() I darken up the transparent "lens" so you could see it.

![]() Still needs front bonnet details (should I bother with the windshield wiper?), the wing, interior, and on, and on, and on...

You should bother with the wiper, it's the little things that make the difference.
![]() That really is looking good though. The shading is perfect. |

FINISHED!!!
Wow, that took so much time to do. I worked on it everyday (save for yesterday) since I first posted, at work & at home. I have a new respect for any who does vectors! ![]() Here's a full-sized pdf if you want to see all the gory details. Link Caution: the pdf is 10.5 MB with a page size of 60" wide!
