Default Font experts around?

I'm looking for the font of these dials:

It's very simple yet distinctively old fashioned. A similar font might do, but I'm looking for that old look. Help me please!

I don't know this font but if you go to www.dafont.com you can search by style and you type in what you want to be displayed as the example of the font.

Had a quick look, Dodger seems similar. You didn't say which part, I assume you mean the "PS"?

AutoAero, thank you, I'll check out that site.

And sorry, no, I meant the numbers.

What car is that and how old is it?

The UPM/RPM seems to be "Akzidenz Grotesk" though the numbers don't match exactly.
I asked what car that is because it is possible that it's a special font that might be based on the "Akzidenz Grotesk". e.g. the Audi font which is a modified "Univers" or the BMW font which is based on "Helvetica".

Thank you, I looked at AG, not quite.

It's a Porsche, but restyled to appear older. Old VDO dials might have a similar font.

The closest I found was the DIN Schrift, but it's still way off.

Okay... take a look at "Franklin Gothic" it's similar to Akzidenz Grotesk.
Franklin Gothic condensed is the corporate typeface of Porsche. But seems as if that one on your photo is extended (or normal) and partly modified.
Maybe you find out if you search for the history of the Porsche corp. typeface or corporate design. Or you just call Porsche and ask them images/smilies/wink.gif

Thank you Oceansoul, might be a font made for Porsche.

But I found "Florence Sans" at AutoAero's link, with a little work it's very similar and has the look I was after.

Just hope they'll suit my car:
