Open the photo, create a new layer, use the text tool to write your own name with your favourite font, position it and you're done.

For later pics, i suggest saving this as a .psd file, so you don't have to remake it, and you just copy paste the new photos under the watermark layer and save as .jpg.

Of course you don't have to resort to just text for your watermark, you can do various stuff in photoshop, shapes, other images, the lot.

Simply make a text layer and then just lower the opacity on it if you want it to be transparent.

oh cool, sounds easy.

think i will just stick with plain-o text for now, im really not a whizz at making things in photoshop, can only do the usual retouching of photos and thats about it.

Double click on the layer (next to the name) after you've made your text and you can change all kinds of styles for it. Dropshadow, opacity, glow, colour, gradient overlay, pattern overlay, the lot!

And if you want to be sneaky, try hiding stuff in it using steganography. Like maybe a text file with your name in it.

I use "BIMP Lite". Can be found via google. Small little programme, does the resizing and name stamping for all my pictures. Very easy to handle.

Greetings, lip
