That does look great. I can never seem to get any soft of highlight/shadow right for some reason (trying another photoshop vector).

Werner, I'm sure you can tell that I took a page from your book on the wheels.  Matt, I can't even imagine trying this in Photoshop. My vectors have all been done in Illustrator.

Very cool vector, but this got me wondering: you made the grille with a painstaking amount of detail, yet you left the wheels without any detail whatsoever. The contrast is stark, to say the least.

Well, I think the grill is part of the character of a car (especially a 7), kinda like someone's nose. Wheels, on the other hand, can change on a whim like someone's hair style. Wheels don't make the car but if you get the nose wrong, the game's over before it started.
The 7 in the donor photo had Panasport wheels and I thought that I could either spend just as much time getting the wheels to look right as I did doing the whole car or just leave it to the viewer's imagination. I wholly appreciate your complements, I just wanted to give a few insights.  Blayde, I'll post a PDF of it tonight so you can make a wallpaper with it.

My best friends dad ones had a lotus 7 (: He sold it and bought a Lotus 340r and a Lotus Elise  What about doing a Lotus 340r next? (Or maybe its too hard to make?) (Hmmm it looks 10 times better in real life s: )

Awesome stuff. I wish I would take the time to do these things. It may just be me but the tread on the front tires seems a bit weird, almost like it doesn't quite present the right depth...? or something
