| Hedgehog Sandwich | good for a first timer few tips: on the first pic, you have used lens flare, which is fine. on the layer under the body. this has caused the light to be covered by the body, which does spoil the effect. i love the beemer, but i think you might need to use more layers. put every element on a different layer, so you can adjust things, like the neon. if you put that on a different layer, you can erase the bit that emerges above the bumper .i'm out of words on my psp now, more advice tomorrow |

| Hedgehog Sandwich | right. i'm on a normal PC now so i can offer some more advice. when you use the lasso tool, attention to detail is very important. you might get better results with the magnetic lasso tool, as it will follow the lines of the body (most of the time). then you won't have bits of colour overlapping the car. try not to use the erase tool very much, and if you do, zoom right in and make it very precise. i would also avoid using grass as a base. i would never try this as it is very hard to get the cut of the grass to look right. most of the time it can look fake. i can see you have been on digimods (wheels on the mitsubishi spacestar) and you've picked up the burnout method, but you need to be very careful when you select the area you want to 'spin'. otherwise you might blend other elements and colours into it. finally, i would stay away from the overlay masks. they might sound good, but unless you adjust the layer, they don't give a very good effect. the smoke and the rain both could use the opacity lowering to make them look more real. hopetosee some more of your work on here ASAP ![]() Matt |

| On the wheel spin pictures, use the radial blur tool/filter. The BMW's back tire does not look like its rotating, it looks like its going to explode. Use this guide and enjoy. http://www.digimods.co.uk/tutorials/tutorials.htm | |
