Would anyone here be able to make a final gear logo, like the one top of the page, that would be a vector, like a .eps or .ai file?

Reason why is I play a game called Live For Speed, you can make skins for the cars, and I would like to plaster my cars with the logo.

Didn't Ice make one? Or at least a pretty damn big one? Also, why do you need eps Jay, even for 2048px skins about 6-700pixel big logos are fine, that's about the max that fits onto cars, and I think the one Ice made is good enough for that.

I had also a look at that site, it looks similar to the livetrace feature in Illustrator. But of course for best results you have to draw things yourself. images/smilies/smile.gif

VectorMagic is handy for "stealing" logos and then making them infinitely resizable!
Among other things!

The same goes for the method I compared it to. Once you have a path generated in illustrator with the livetrace tool you can blow things up to whatever size you want. Yet both ways only work well for relatively simple shapes and colors, otherwise manually doing it by hand yields best results.
