![]() I tried finding some help with some online tutorials, but most tutorials are for creating work not editings images, and photoshop help section doesn't do much, the jargon is too thick to understand what I need to do. | ||

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Jay, search the web for tutorials on how to make the changes that you're looking to make. Chanding the car color for example would mean cropping the areas of the image you want to change, possibly creating a layer mask and then editing the hue of the layer, touch ups can be performed using layer properties or filters or brushing or about 20 other methods. Don't get discouraged, we've all started somewhere.

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Actually Jay, looking at your chop, you've pretty much the basics down, if you're able to cut out the car from the background and putting on a different image, lowering the car is basically the same deal, you chop the car without the wheels, cut/copy and paste and then simply move the new layer down. From there, everything else is pretty much in the same direction ![]()

| I see, I guess I should learn masks. I hate the magnetic lasso tool, its so clunky, but its the only way I know how to crop stuff. Its horrible in same color areas. Once I get those basics down, I can get more creative. I want to participate really bad, just gotta get to know photoshop I suppose. Its hard to start though in my opinion. Are there any tips you can give for getting rims to fit the angle of the wheels? I'm not exactly sure what its called to distort images like that. | |

| Yeah I'm working on it right now, its going really slow, I just dropped the truck and I'm filling in gaps. I think I have gotten better with the magnetic lasso tool. | |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | why are you using that tool? its messy and lazy. why not be a little more patient and use the polygonal lasso? zoom in and select away!
