Default photoshop Q plz help

Hi everyone!

As im a Photoshop newb, im having a few problems...the thing im trying to do is to place an external cropped image( a person) onto a different picture. Is there anyway i can make the cropped image smaller so it would good in a perspective? Thanks in Advance

Yes, make a selection and copy that selection.

Once you put it into the new image you can click 'free transform' on that selection and you can edit the shape.
