PS Request: Desktop

Guys, I just got a widescreen monitor that is running at 1680 x 1050

I was wondering if someone could trim the top and bottom of this image so it's the correct proportions. I want to loose the stuff at the bottom for sure, and it looks like there is plenty of unused space at the top for the rest.

I have a higher-rez image that has a nasty-looking insert in the lower left. If anyone is feeling ambitious, it's probably possible to restore the image using the low-rez one as a template. I know diddily about art and photoshop, though.
