So, I'm designing a website for my senior project and I decided that for some of the site artwork, I'd use a combination of my actual photographs, and then make some vectors of my photographs as well. a few of the photos I'm making into vectors are these:
(( the images are all very large, I didn't resize them otherwise you wouldn't see all the small details in my drawings. )) So far I've come up with this: I'm kind of new to this, I know how to do "line art" as it were, I just don't know how to do the complicated little details that are needed to complete these drawings, especially the first one. I'd love some help/tips/suggestions on what I can change or do better, so I can finish these and start on some more.

That's good. What software do you use? I know some tricks for Illustrator if you use that.

Ah, I don't have a lot of experience with PSP.

Damn and blast. I need to find some good tutorials or something for PSP on how to do vector drawings of cars and the like. Here's a colored one I'm working on of a Shelby Mustang:
(( the background is blue because it makes it easier for me to see the bits, since the car is white and having a white car on a white background doesn't work for me ))I'd really appreciate any feedback anyone has.

Hmmm, see, you're smart enough to come up with some good techniques. I'd get rid of that front registration plate mount, though. I think the car will look a lot better without it (unless you have something in mind that you want to put on the plate). Otherwise it's looking quite good. The lights may be difficult if you want them to have a real texture. I recommend doing a Google image search for mustang headlight and trace an image focused just on the headlight.

Okay, I fixed it and took out the license plate. How's it look now?
![]() And here's the final colored image, but its the way it was before I fixed the license plate and stuff. It looks funky because instead of drawing the headlight textures I just copying the actual image of the headlights and put them in ![]() ![]() The foglights are yellow because I always think of foglights as yellow.

Fantastic! It is slightly crooked (just a wee bit). I don't know if you can fix it, but if you can, I'd recommend looking closely at the upper and lower grill.

Oh, hello
It is a bit crooked, but I'm too lazy to be bothered. It probably won't be noticeable enough when I size it down on my website - so it's no biggie ![]() Anyway, I colored the tail light vector. What do we think?:

Oh, heh, probably not. Those colours are excellent. Nice work!
