Well kids, you know what this means...time to brew our own illegal moonshine and distribute it, like Thunder Road.

I know Southern California is a bunch of metrosexual pussies but Northern California still has a bit of the wild west left in it, and they make alcohol and have big guns.
I'm not sure if you're being funny or not but that is way off. The tax isn't 1500%, the tax increase is 1500%. From 2ish cents to 30ish cents. So your six pack amounts to only $9.78, still alot in comparison to what it is now.

Can't you bypass this by buying kegs instead of bottles/cans?

As soon as you figure out a way to transport a keg on the back of a bike - and find someone to fill it with Newcastle.

Dan Gordon, co-founder of Gordon Biersch Brewing Co., calculated that the tax on a barrel of beer would go from $6.40 to $89. "We would all be looking for jobs," he said.

This legislation would about triple the price of a keg of cheap lager. images/smilies/shakefist.gif Good thing it will never pass.

As cool as that BMW is, that's not technically on the back of the bike. I don't have a sidecar.

Yeah I know, I just wanted an excuse to post that neat old bimmer. If it's got to be on the back, you can always get yourself a sturdy sissy bar and some ratcheting straps images/smilies/lol.gif.
