I don't except you to understand the bullshit moveon.org does, so read this:

The images have nothing to do with the satire in this instance, and can probably be attributed to someone in the tech room just getting bored, but the satire is that there are many more left-wing news sources than there are right-wing news sources, but these reporters are showing a sharp incline in CNN viewers at the time of the Democratic debates as the end of Fox News. Contrary to what they'd want you to believe, many Republicans do follow news about the Democratic Primaries. After the election, you can expect Fox News to be back on top as it's the only major cable news channel with conservative lean, whereas liberal lean is common to a handful of the others.

I'd also like to point out that The ½ Hour News Hour bombed because it was headed by Dennis Miller, who has never been particularly funny aside from his work on Saturday Night Live, when other writers would rework his jokes to be understood by greater than 2% of viewers.

Firstly, the photoshop made me giggle.

Second, The New York Times isn't a particularly unbiased news source either.

Thirdly, all the media does anymore is whine, whine, whine.

More fox news antics...

When discussing McCain and his campaign plans for the day, they used footage from his 2000 campaign...you know, when he looked 8 years younger.

When you're that ancient, is there really a difference? images/smilies/lol.gif I'm quite happy with McCain being able to joke about his age, though.

As for the point to this thread - its Fox News. This is their business. What were we expecting at this point?

If you thought Fox News was bad at photoshop...

Background - the Sun is a very unreliable tabloid. The Metro is equally unreliable, but is free.

Well, do all 'conservatives' find bitter commentary and pathetic attempts at photoshop to be funny satire? If so; what an easy bunch to entertain images/smilies/wink.gif.

Yeah, here's the deal about fox and friends. It's trying and failing to be the right-wing foil to any of the comedy central news stuff. Obviously Stewart and Colbert portray the funnier side of what the conservatives do to convince people to lean left. Fox is trying and failing to do the opposite, partially because they tend to focus too much on the hatchet jobs that air on some of their other programs. This means one of three things:
1. Liberals just aren't that funny
2. Right wingers suck at satire
3. If they took the hatchet jobs out of the satire, maybe it'd be funny.

Oh and Alan Colmes, the most liberal guy on the network is a moderate at best and only serves as a wet paper bag for Sean Hannity to recklessly bloviate his way through. As has been shown by Al Franken and Jon Stewart, when you put these neo-con comedians up against a less-emasculated liberal comic, they're torn to shreds, whether they're actually comics or the farces that pass as talking heads on fox.
