thats what they get for being a bunch of pompous, incompetent wankers.

sadly they'll only be replaced by another set of pompous, incompetent wankers.

I'm not surprised (although a little disappointed) Boris won.

Two things stand out, though -

One, record turnout for the London mayor elections. This is clearly a good thing (although it's only 45%).

Two, I'd like to punch the 69,000 people and 5.3% of the voters that voted BNP and got them a seat in the London council in the face.

I've made that my personal mission in life, this is the guy (according to The News Of The World) had a copy of Mein Kampf under his bed! Having said that previous BNP councillors failed to do much, rarely showing up for meetings and not really understanding what there doing. I doubt this guy will last long.

Oh that is great.. the re-incarnated Adolf Hitler.. Starts with the London ellections then what?

Here in Quebec we have a similar problem with an ass called Mario Dumont. He is the leader of the ADQ(Action Democratique du Quebec) and he FEARS an invasion of immigrants. As if they would swarm in, take the jobs, enpregnant the white girls and not pay taxes. Politics is always a circus- but I see many similarities between the BNP "person" and our M.Dumont

As for RED KEN beeing kicked out,,, thank GOD. NOW, Montreal, city in which I live in, has even been studying the London Congestion charge and the possibility of applying it here. If I remember correctly, there were some people that were flown to London to look at the system and see if it could be financially viable. Problem is that we are only 2 Million and that implementing such a system would cost a heck of alot.. + ppl to fix/watch/ follow up + risks of lawsuits for breach of privacy ++++
Although I DON'T think that it will fly, I wonder if this is even legal.

What boggles my mind is that if this new 226g/km co2 thing passed, in 1 years time, it would have saved up about the same ammount of co2 that is emitted from Heathrow in 4 hours?!?!! HOW THE...? That for me is a big sign that someone is getting rich of this SCAM(Congestion Charge)

Glad to hear that Ken Livingston is out of the Mayor's office and that some new blood will make some common sense out of the congestion charge. Ah well, it must be my liberal(diff. then your Lib-dem) side.

Cheers!
Note: Sorry for the rambling, it's late and I'm wrecked images/smilies/sad.gif
