I skimmed it and will have time to read it in full tomorrow, but if the data he has brought forth is correct, then it blows the entire CO2 = GW idea out of the water. His models seem well fleshed out, but also are quick to note that the climate is an imprecise system at best and a chaotic one at worst, influenced by countless factors.
I found this quote the most telling: Quote:

I was hoping somebody actually physically bitch-slapped Al Gore. Right across the face, hard enough to make him turn his face and pause for a sec before the impact of the hit reaches his brain, with a red welt that won't fade for at least 11 hours.

Judging by the reactions in this very thread I can only conclude that global warming makes you violent.

I lol'd. Anyone read all that crap and like, understood it yet?
I'm guessing from the bits I understand (not much) that CO2 is good for the environment and doesn't cause global warming. |

Thank you that makes so much sense that change in T^ divided by change in Tk is equal to fuck I am happy that this is posted a highlights version and source link might have done it but no this is much better. We can barely predict the weather tomorrow. How in the hell do they expect to figure out what's going on with global warming?
CO2 is one of the things that warm up the planet. Volcanos spew up massive amounts of CO2 into the atmosphere and that was one of the things that helped get the Earth back on form from it's ice ages. But I don't believe anything Gore says, its bollocks. |

![]() About the topic, then. I can't be arsed to read all that, but I WOULD LOVE to have a summary, sounds very, very interesting. I never believed CO2 to be a major contribution in anything other than the amount of tax we have to pay on top of our already ridiculous taxes. All-in-all, I hope this guy's theory holds up, and get A LOT of publicity. Basically, I want Al Gore to commit suicide(no jokes there, I really would love to open the papers and see his obituary), an unseasonal snowstorm to destroy every IPCC office in the world (snowstorm for the ironic effect, of course), and Greenpeace headquarters bombed by.. I dont care who bombs them, as long as they go out of business. These are my opinions, tell me if you agree

Some thoughts -
1. we are now looking to build shed loads of atomic power stations - where as before "Global Warming". ... 2. Raising taxes without "Global Warming" how could governments justify 'green' taxes? 3. Specifically on Green Taxes : UK at least, now no longer bothers building roads, but we all pay the Road Fund Licence (now called something else as they don't build roads anymore) the justification is that we should all use Public Transport (which they do not provide BTW, unless you live in Islington) because of the CO2 our cars put out which causes "Global Warming". 4. The new tax regieme for Road Fund Licences (back dated on cars from 2001 - why?) is put in place so that lower CO2 emitting cars are much more economic as far as tax is concerned, or rather high CO2 cars are going to be vastly more expensive, because of "Global Warming". Nice how it is in so many peoples interests this "Global Warming". I smell a big fat rat somewhere at the bottom of all this stuff.
