/Back on topic. There's always someone who takes whatever they believe in to the extreme, just let nature take care of that. As for the world overpopulating, we're only at 6 billion right now, I don't see how it can double in 50 years. Maybe it really will level out at 10-12 billion, but it definitely will take more than 50 years. So it's not really our generation's concern.

It's not so hard to believe. 50 years ago there were only ~2.5 billion people in the world. Now we've more than doubled that. Even with birth rates falling in most western countries, some to sub-replacement levels, the worlds population is still exponentially increasing. It definitely is a problem we have to deal with, the population, either naturally, artificially or through war will level out in our lifetime. Just thinking of how to feed that many people will make your head hurt.

^This is why i'm not really bothered about these wonder drugs that let people live to 100 instead of just like, maybe 80 before. This is already an un-natural death to some extent and i think we need to consider how the population is controlled.

I agree, but normally when I think of that issue I think of it in a personal context. "Wonder drugs" and other medical breakthroughs are allowing people to be more productive longer, but I suppose you can also reason that they're just delaying the inevitable. Personally, I'm going to be one crippled old bastard , and I don't even know if I want to still be around when I'm 70, much less 90. It will of course, depend largely on quality of life though.
