I just think it's lame that people go out of their way to mock other people's beliefs, and this one happens to be about Christianity.

But oh well, I really don't want to get involved in another religious discussion here. They just go around in circles and people restate their same views over and over, so I wish I wouldn't have even posted here.....

Admittedly mocking other's beliefs isn't cool - but with Christians and Mormons knocking on my door bugging me it's nice to have a return volley like this.

People are free to believe what they want, but they shouldn't promote their views. I do get sick of having three different religions coming to my house every year, trying to reel me in. I'm not some sodding fish and I'm not interested in your religion, either. images/smilies/idiot.gif

That one would fly in Kansas. Everywhere else, we have things called rational thinking, Occam's razor, etc. I'm not saying that religion is wrong. I'm just saying that it's not true because the bible says it is. The bible was written by man for man and it is a moral parable.

In addition, until Guthemberg invented the "printing machine", the Bible has been copied by hand, so it has probably been edited to fit the writer's views and his period.
