Already appropriated almost 600 million dollars (although estimates were/are around 1 billion). So the United States is never going to pull out of Iraq completely, ever. Of course, we all knew that....

Car: Civic Rep Power: 20 | Question what does having an embassy in a country have to do with whether US forces leave Iraq? Given the fact that the US has an embassy in almost every nation in the world and doesn't have troops running around them shooting terroristas I don't see the correlation.

Rep Power: 28 | Well, as noted, this isn't exactly your ordinary embassy. But a better indication of America's intention to stay in Iraq are the permanent bases they are building.
