This is just so disgusting. I have officially changed position regarding the death penalty. I'm really getting sick of all these violent crimes (go figure). And that goes for minors as well, execute the fuck out of them.

I was browsing some crime fact sites, and apparently Canada has a more rapes per-capita than the United States (in overall numbers though, the United States has more)

Hell those stats are odd. Do you think some of those countries are reporting honestly? My sympathies go to the victims, I hope that they can recover some of their lives for the future.

Now what is the kids stories I wonder, I do not believe that you start out like that; somewhere they have (or some have) done this sort of thing before. They must have serious amounts of hate within themselves.

I am pro death penalty, but I think these freaks should just be given a few years at any maximum security prison. Let the regular cons sort them out. Any sentence would be a death sentence. I would almost get locked up just to get a shot at bastards like these.

When I was a teenager all I did was drive around and hang out with my friends, what the fuck is wrong with kids these days..

I'll tell you what it is, its those fucking liberals, if a kid gets out of line you have to yoke them up by the neck like your supposed to. These kids deserve the worst that the judicial system can throw at them.

Not that I'm taking away from the severity of the crime and how messed up these kids are, but a 14 year old is being tried as an adult? He won't be deemed responsible enough to vote, enlist, own a gun, etc. for another four years. He's still got seven before he's allowed to buy a beer. But he messes up once and suddenly he's got the responsibility of an adult and has to face the consequences as such? images/smilies/wacko.gif

I'm all for tough punishment but only as long as it's fair and reasonable.

Anyone like this should be used for scientific experiment.... their crimes maybe dispicable but their punishment should change our lives for the good.. solutions for cancer ect. Killing them does nothing to further Human kind and is not a deterant to such people because they obviousley do not consider the consequences of their actions.

I don't really see the death penalty as a deterrent, but a way to permanently remove the most undesirable elements out of society and the genepool.

I can tell some people are going to play the "they're kids, they didn't know any better" shtick. Doesn't really work for fucking gang rape, though, now does it? They probably didn't realize how badly they've messed up an innocent person's life, and how badly they've messed up their own lives as well. Then again, they should know the latter, once they've been sent to prison like they deserve. I hear those guys don't take too kindly to sex offenders...

This has a actually occured a few times in Texas, with consent from the prisoner of course. One case I recall was of a man who volunteered to have his body sliced in a few thousand pieces, and they photographed the body after each cut to help map out the human body.

(I'm not disagreeing with you but)...
Putting them in prison doesn't always do it either, at least for career criminals. I have people that are unfortunately part of my family tree that will go commit a small crime just so they can have dental work done or injuries taken care of on tax payers dime. And another that looks at prison as "3 square meals a day and cable tv."
