Thats the worry about getting it pro-done, is any turn around time. Especially if I go the hook up route.

I'm starting to wish I kept the ford, the biggest thing I had ton consider for it was "do I bother to shoot some water in it's direction this month?"

I can't even decide on a damn color! If I pick a solid, no thrills color, it's getting a rustoleum job. I only care to go pro if I decide to stick with the factory metal flaked dark gray.

In the past 30 seconds I've decided I may go the 2-lane blacktop 55 chevy route

Can't go wrong with that. Plus you could instantly identify cool people: they'd be the ones who could identify that iconic weathered gray paint job. I can't remember how they pulled that effect off now, maybe just splashed thinner on a fresh coat of paint?

Well Rustoleum just won the war

http://www.rswarrior.com/forums/_Upload/golfhawk/200561704433_W-PaintCans.jpg

I'm going to see if I can find it in a normal can so I can roll it on with a foam roller images/smilies/thumbsup.gif

This looks like it could match my factory paint pretty god damned close!

There is that exact same car with the same exact paintjob in my neighborhood. Scares the fuck out of me even during daylight.

When I was still in Missouri a member of M42club had his motor built by them (IIRC his was the first of these done), I got to try it out. I will have one in my 4 door, oh yes, it will be mine.

ARG! Fuck the previous owner(s). Some ass hat decided "hey lets weld the shock shaft lock nut onto the shock."

I've spent the last hour grinding and chiseling it down to try and get the nut loose so I can replace my VERY badly worn out top hat.

GDPOs appear to be the same everywhere.... no matter what the marque or location. images/smilies/tongue.gif

{looks at the two pounds of wire that is the remains of a badly installed 80's cell phone kit from his Series III, freshly removed from the car}
