Nah, cause it knows it's still better. Sticker tires, better suspension, lighter weight, and when all else fails...

I just remind it that when I want to really enjoy myself I take it out, the BMW in the end is still just a daily.

It appears my old Taurus may come back to haunt me in the form of raping it's side skirts, cut down, and fitted to the e30.

They look quite good if you ask me, and are plentiful in JunkYards with better fitment than most aftermarket bits. What do you guys think?

So now I just need to find a Trunk/deck spoiler/lip for a decent price that'll look right on the car and I'm golden.

I say go for the Taurus side skirts. That's actually pretty cool, and you can tell all the Prius drivers that you're being green by recycling old car parts. Best part is, that if you mess up with the cutting and fitting, you can just go grab another set for next to nothing.

More updates. This car is getting much love, sadly at the expense of the miata images/smilies/sad.gif

While at the junkyard pulling more bits for my current project I totally scored (thank you C4C) with a 740i in the yard with Coil-on-plug ignition. Scored the coils and the connectors from the harness for well, not very much.

Cool part is that other than fabbing up a SIMPLE bracket to fit them and then making either A) harness adapters with only 4 wires) or B) soldering directly into the harness I can make these work. Even the factory wiring colors match. I wish the miata was this easy to convert to COPS. The piece-de-resistance... buying new factory coils from BMW off of an M3 are cheaper than replacing the stock 318i coils and plug wires! Simplify the cars setup, improve the ignition system AND save money on parts...FTMFW!

Browns are all ground/earth, Greens are all power from a relay, the rest go to the ecu and tell them when to energize. Now to find the factory connectors to go into my harness to make this mod fully reversible.

Oh and he other project, I'm finishing up an e-fan conversion. Pulled all the bits from a Volvo 940. Most guys go with ripping the factory auxiliary e-fan out and using it's wiring, I'm adding in a whole new circuit.

I like the look of it, clean, subtle and classy. Agree a small decklid spoiler would balance the front air dam nicely, beyond that I wouldnt touch it except for maybe tint.

Hrm, good point I sorta know that area.

Clearly I don't stalk you at all so I don't know what you drive exactly other than a Miata images/smilies/tease.gif
