Car: 2005 Scion xB Rep Power: 58    |  1965 Volkswagen Microbus Some of you may have seen a shot or two of this car in my garage, but today it was outside for duty so I took that opportunity to snap some photos. Some info on it: - My parents are the original owners - It was purchased in 1965 for $2800 - Original color was beigerot (brownish-red) - Limited run model with 21 total windows - Custom chrome bumpers - Custom yellow paint (1978 Corvette) - Abarth exhaust - Has gone through two engines (this is the third one) - 260K total miles           Whenever my dad decides to retire, he and I want to start restoring it, especially the interior (my brother ripped it to shreds installing speakers). We would probably get it resprayed to the original color as well. The passenger side mirror is missing, it got knocked off when my mom pulled out the garage too fast  |
