Well, I just ordered some new wheels. Should be coming in hopefully soon from Japan.
Advan Racing Wheel RCII 17" x 8.5" +45mm offset in White

Oh I wish they were coming in overnight. Advans take fooreeeevvvver to come in. I had a friend wait 6 months for his set of RZs. However, I was told 1-3 months. Hopefully it's the former. images/smilies/blink.gif

They will look great; not many cars can pull off either pink or gold wheels. Or in your case, white.

Word. I can't wait. Definitely going in for a photoshoot once they arrive. Oh, and I ordered a V-Limited replica lip which should be in on Thursday, and on Friday, I'm going wingless.

Slowly, but surely, she's coming together. =D

Yeah, I hear a couple of Sr20's would pull a premium before race wars..

Anyway, nice rim choice, the Scooby is one of the few cars that don't look tacky with gold rims.

careful you dont overdo it, some ppl get way carried away with HDR technique, looks like you cranked up the gamma too high.

nice man ... looking to get a wrx myself .. cant decide whether to go in for a stock or get an old one and have it suped up .... will have to get someone to do it though... dont know enough to do it myself !!... any advice..

i was actually thinking of getting the gear from vishnu tuning and get it to go fast in a straight line

There are plenty of places to go for info. Try NASIOC.com, but sure to use the "search" feature. Any question you may have, has probably already been asked. But if you want a WRX to simply go fast in a straight line, I advise you not to buy one. You're much better off with either a muscle car, or if you don't like American cars, an EVO.

That gen Subie is on my short list to replace my current daily driver.. Up here in the Pacific NW they are everywhere so parts and cars are a plenty.. And they can drive in the snow which they don't plow up here either.. images/smilies/sad.gif

Thanks, and yes, the Advans will be wider. My current setup is 17" x 7.5" with a +53 offset running a 225/45/17 tire.

The Advans will be 17" x 8.5" with a +45 offset, running a 255/40/17 tire.

Careful because at your age, the insurance premiums on WRX and Stis are getting pretty bad, be prepared to factor that into your costs, as well as the possibility whatever used car you buy has not been modded w care and the car/engine/tranny has been abused by its last owner, esp in ways not obvious on a single test drive.
