What about the Hyundai Genesis coupe? Some of the tuned ones that I have sen are pretty damn impressive. Base model starts at exactly $22,000. Not bad for a RWD 210hp turbocharged 2.0L that shares some of its components with the Lancer Ralliart.

Not a bad car, but maybe too performance-oriented and only 2 doors, if I understood what ChelsDS wants.

Realistically though, you could get a nice Impreza (wagon or sedan) for cheap. Just be smart and look for non-STi and modded Rex's and you should be good. The best part is that you can put sexy BBS gold rims on it images/smilies/wub.gif

Well... things have sooorta changed now... Might be looking to get an AWD car for where I might possibly be moving to, so that means.. yes.. a Subbie! images/smilies/thumbsup.gif

I was thinking the previous body styling of a 325i but... dunno if they're worth it. Maybe I'll just stick to my xD images/smilies/mad.gif

Get a Saab 9-2X Aero. It is a guaranteed to be unmolested Subaru WRX Wagon. Or you can just look for a wrx wagon.

What are the running costs of a Mustang GT? I figure it must be cheap enough, since it's all pretty solid engineering. But no doubt the insurance will probably be high.

Someone who knows stuff about Subbies get a hold of me images/smilies/shifty.gif

There's a dealer near me who is over stocked on subbies and who might be getting rid of '08s at a good price. Can't afford an STI so that's out of the question, but I have questions on the other trims, which are all so very confusing images/smilies/mad.gif

Also, is the pearl white paint job a STI only color? images/smilies/sad.gif

from what I hear, get an 06-07 WRX instead of the 08 WRX. Even if you don't want to, do it.
