Ice, it is OBD tuning. Meaning, laptop to car. But it doesn't take long, plan on doing it while going to ringmeet? As well, in your case, I would refrain from going for max torque, VAG clutches tend to go slippy slippy boom boom when facing high Nm numbers.....

Oh and btw: I fucking hate Audi for the cheap quality on their lightswitches. The one on our A6 looks the same after 88.000km & 7 years.....

If it's a good mechanic, it can tell me the state of the clutch too. But yeah, I might, if I save up enough moneys.

WTF? Why do you have a single DIN? I thought all B6 A4's came with a DDIN radio from factory.... (the way mine is you have the HVAC controls on the very bottom right above the ashtray and the radio takes up the whole thing where you have radio + HVAC).

Your headlight switch is in 100% better condition than mine, also what is that little button thing next to it? Looks like some kind of a fog light control.

You should be able to find a full tune from some tuning houses. For instance I had a Stage 1 chip done from APR here in the states, it was done by an Audi dealer at that, $500 + 20 minutes and I'm sitting pretty on top of 215HP (vs 170) and 235TQ(IIRC). They just hook a laptop to the OBDII and upload the tune. You can also have the option of keeping a stock tune. In my case I use the cruise control stalk to change between stock and tuned. Also if you do the tune I HIGHLY recommend that you grab a better DV. Stock DV is plastic with some rubber so it doesn't handle higher boost very well.

Looks like a headlight adjustment depending on passengers in the car, i have it as well on the civic (changes the angle of the light because of the shift in weight in the back or front)

Ahhh yes makes sense, It's interesting because I know HID equipped A4's came with auto leveling headlights but standard halogen ones don't come with any kind of headlight adjustment from the cabin. (in the US that is)

That sux I would highly suggest to pick up DDIN touch screen if you have the funds it modernizes the car's interior quite a bit. I personally like the Pioneer line up due to the ability to customize button colors.

Also its not so weird that its a single DIN as it is that your HVAC controls are located in a different place.

I'd need to completely replace the centre console for that. :/

I don't think you would. Your HVAC controls look identical to mine save for the placement. The way it is on the DDIN cars is that the HVAC is all the way on the bottom and is held in place by the radio (this is what a stock DDIN looks like for the A4) that plastic around the actual radio is what holds your HVAC in.

The console is mostly empty space and some wiring. When I was doing my navi install I bought an aftermarket DDIN faceplate since the stock radio integrates it and that holds the HVAC in place (curiously I don't have any pics on my photobucket, I'll take a pic for you later this weekend)

Aren't there ones where the whole assembly fit into a Single DIN, but then the screen slides out when you start the car?

Yep, they suck though. Most of the nicer ones have to be DDIN simply because of the amount of computing power they require.

What i don't get is what ice would need the DDIN module for while he's got a fine aftermarket headunit anyways.
