This means I broke the #1st. bid; don't buy the first car you look at images/smilies/lol.gif

But I don't care, I don't care at all!

Listen to this;
- Beetle is from 1970
- it's a 1303_S (oh yes)
- got a 1600 cc engine (put in 1987 or something, it accelerates like crazy, 140 km.h top speed images/smilies/eek.gif

)
- paint job is from 1987, and is 98% believe me
- interior is also about 98%, only ONE little crack on the wall, but all in all perfect. Seats are 100%
- Gearbox is in great condition, no probs with getting it into gears

Now, the owner a 75 year old, bought it in 1987. He took it to pieces re-did everything and put it together again. Put a 1600 cc in it, with help from a friend. The engine runs super smooth, and on the highway it just wanted more and moooore images/smilies/biggrin.gif

He showed receipts for EVERYTHING on the car. New tires last year, and new brakes as well! When he took it to a "NAF" test, the guys said that it was seldom they saw a example as this in such a good shape, and that he had to take care of it.
The last owner was a VW mechanic, and was very careful with it.

The sale itself was very smooth, he had all the papers ready and signed. images/smilies/thumbsup.gif
